Kennesaw State University will host the 7th annual statewide LGBTQ student and organization summit on Saturday, April 18, 2009.  The Summit will begin with registration at 9:00am.
 
The purpose of the Summit is to:  (1) Build a support network of high school, college, and university LGBTQ and LGBTQ-supportive students, faculty, allies, and organizations, and (2) Provide panels, workshops, and discussion groups on key LGBTQ issues. 
 
Who should attend?  LGBTQ University, College, and High School Students and Allies; University, College, High School and Middle School educators, administrators, staff, parents, and allies interested in gaining a better understanding of issues facing LGBTQ youth and young adults; leaders and members of LGBTQ advocacy groups interested in helping improve educational and life experiences for LGBTQ students and young adults.
